Stella was captured in Iceland and transported to Kamogawa SeaWorld with Oscar* and Maggie* where they met Bingo*. Stella lived at Kamogawa SeaWorld for 24 years, where she gave birth to four of her calves, all daughters. In December 2011 she was transported to Port of Nagoya Aquarium, with her mate Bingo* and youngest calf at the time, Ran. At Port of Nagoya Aquarium, she gave birth to her fifth daughter, Lynn. She lived at Nagoya for over 12 years and was then moved to a new facility in Japan called Kobe Suma SeaWorld. She was alone at the facility for almost a month, but was then re-united with her daughter Ran 2 who she had been apart from for almost 9 years.
