Keto is one of the few orcas to have lived at every SeaWorld Park. At SeaWorld Texas, Keto was close to his older brother Keet. In 2006, Keto and Tekoa were moved to Loro Parque in Tenerife where they joined Kohana and Skyla. The unit of orcas were rather disruptive, due to a lack of dominant female with them. December 2009 saw the death of trainer Alexis Martinez during a training session, due to Keto acting aggressively towards him. This event and the incident with Tilikum* at SeaWorld Florida, resulted in the stoppage of waterworks between orcas and humans. Keto has fathered two calves at Loro Parque, Adan and Vicky*.
